Tent Fumigation

Most structures are fumigated for an infestation of Drywood Termites, but also can be fumigated for Bed Bug infestations,

Roach Infestations, Wood Boring Beetle infestations, Formosan Termites,Rodent Infestations, and other severe insect

issues. If you are experiencing flying termites in the summer months, it is recommended by the Department of

Agriculture here in Florida that you should Fumigate your structure. Don't be fooled by companies that offer only spot

liquid treatments such as Earths Best, Orange Oil, Citranella.

Many people have a misconception of what is involved in a fumigation. The process is quite simple and the preparations

are very easy to follow.

Typically it is a 3 day process, 2 nights out and back in on the third day. The tarps go up on day one and the fumigant is

induced. The fumigant will remain in the structure for 18-24 hours in most cases. The tarps come down on day 2 to start

the aeration period that takes until day 3 and then the structure is cleared for re-entry. It is a very safe process that

literally leaves no residue afterwards. So no chemicals or fumigant to clean up when you return.
